Six Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision on Bowman Road in Cottonwood
COTTONWOOD, CA (November 8, 2024) – A significant collision involving five vehicles on Bowman Road resulted in six people sustaining injuries on Wednesday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the accident occurred on November 6, around 2:38 p.m. It was initiated by a Dodge Ram 3500 whose driver, becoming distracted, collided into a queue of vehicles waiting near Adams Road.
This initiated a domino effect, leading to subsequent damage to a Ford Escape, Kia Soul, Lincoln MKZ, and Chevrolet Impala involved in the lineup.
Initial reports indicate that six individuals suffered minor injuries due to the crash. Among them, two were transported to a local hospital to receive further medical care.
Emergency crews closed off Bowman Road temporarily to facilitate clean-up operations. The road was later reopened for traffic at 3:42 p.m.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection to the accident.
