Truck Slides into Ravine
On Monday morning, a truck incident occurred in the hilly region of De Luz, California, as reported by the California Highway Patrol (CHP). At approximately 9:30 a.m., a driver informed CHP dispatch operators of encountering ice on the road at the junction of Los Gatos Road and Avocado Mesa Road.
The vehicle subsequently slid towards an embankment, eventually landing in a ravine and beginning to fill with water.
Fortunately, the driver managed to extricate themselves from the truck without assistance, and no injuries were sustained.
However, the truck remained lodged in the water, necessitating the arrival of a tow truck for retrieval. Despite the ordeal, no traffic disruptions were caused, and the involvement of Cal Fire was deemed unnecessary, according to official sources.
