14th Street Shut Down
Emergency responders sprang into action following reports of a two-car collision occurring at noon on Monday. The incident unfolded at the intersection of 14th Street, involving a White Ford Focus and a Grey Ford Fusion. Preliminary investigations revealed that the Focus, traveling eastbound, disregarded a stop sign, leading to the collision with the northbound Fusion.
The impact propelled the Fusion into a gate and subsequently into a nearby house. Fortunately, although the front section of the Focus ignited, firefighters promptly subdued the flames, averting further damage. Despite the intensity of the crash, no major injuries were reported among the involved parties.
Authorities anticipate clearing the scene by Monday afternoon, ensuring minimal disruption to local traffic flow.
