Tragic ATV Accident

A devastating ATV accident in southwest Fresno has claimed the life of a 22-year-old woman from Delano. According to the Fresno County Coroner's Office, Esperanza Nunez tragically passed away on Wednesday evening. The accident occurred at Hyde Park, situated on Fruit Avenue and Church Road in Fresno. Sheriff's officials confirmed the details, revealing that Nunez was involved in the ATV incident. Following her untimely death, her sister, Catarina Cortez, initiated a GoFundMe campaign to support the family during this challenging time. Cortez described her sister's vibrant personality and the impact she had on those around her. She highlighted Esperanza's infectious laughter, boundless love, and her remarkable kindness. Cortez emphasized that the sudden loss has created an irreplaceable void in their lives. In her GoFundMe plea, Cortez expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support and urged people to contribute towards funeral expenses. Despite the profound grief, the family finds solace in the decision to donate Esperanza's organs, ensuring that her legacy endures.
