Tragedy on 101:
A pedestrian was killed early Thursday morning after being struck on northbound U.S. Highway 101 in San Jose, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. under Story Road when officers received a report of a person lying in the right lane of the highway.
