Tragedy in San Jacinto

A woman tragically lost her life in a terrible crash involving four vehicles in San Jacinto, leaving a total of five people injured. The victim was identified as Venus Angel Aguilar, a 36-year-old resident of the city. The accident occurred shortly before 8 a.m. on Thursday near the intersection of Ramona Expressway and San Jacinto Avenue, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. According to Sergeant Patrick Lynch, the vehicle in which the victim was traveling, along with three other vehicles, collided for reasons still under investigation, all of them being "severely damaged." County fire crews quickly arrived at the scene of the accident and immediately established triage and began an extrication operation, as two of the victims had to be removed from the wreckage, authorities said. Aguilar was one of the trapped individuals and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. According to the fire department, two people were seriously injured, while two others suffered minor injuries. All the injured were transported to a regional trauma center for treatment. In addition, three more people were evaluated by paramedics at the scene but did not require hospitalization. The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation by authorities. This tragic incident has shocked the community of San Jacinto and has highlighted the importance of road safety and caution while driving to prevent such tragedies in the future.
