Tragedy in Los Angeles
A man was arrested after a violent crash in Los Angeles County sent his family, including a 5-month-old child, to the hospital. The incident occurred early Sunday at the intersection of Crenshaw Boulevard and 52nd Street in Hyde Park, around 2 a.m. According to police, the father, who was allegedly driving during the crash, attempted to flee the scene, leaving an adult woman and her 5-month-old and 7-year-old children, who were injured inside the vehicle.
The 5-month-old child was transported to the hospital in critical condition, along with the mother, whose condition was not immediately known. The 7-year-old child, who was also taken to the hospital, complained of body pains. Although it is unclear if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash, the father, who also suffered serious injuries, was arrested later. No further details were provided about his condition or the charges he might face.
