Tragedy in Kings County
Two people have died in a tragic car accident in Kings County. According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred shortly before 10:30 p.m. on Saturday on Grangeville Boulevard, near the intersection with Avenue 25, on the outskirts of Lemoore.
Reports indicate that a woman was driving a white Ford Fusion, traveling westbound on Grangeville Boulevard, when she lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the guardrail. The impact was so severe that the car quickly caught fire, trapping the driver and a man who was in the passenger seat.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, both occupants of the vehicle died at the scene due to the serious injuries sustained in the accident. Authorities have not yet determined whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
