At precisely 5:02 p.m., the Santa Barbara County Firefighters swiftly responded to the scene on the southbound lanes of Highway 1, located just south of Highway 135. Upon their arrival, emergency crews discovered that an adult male had been struck by a sedan and tragically pronounced dead at the accident site.
