Fallbrook Crash

Four individuals have lost their lives and one person has been hospitalized following a horrific three-vehicle crash in Fallbrook on Friday night, as reported by the California Highway Patrol. The accident was reported around 11:18 p.m. on State Route 76 near Horse Ranch Creek Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, an unidentified individual driving a silver Chrysler 300 eastbound veered left and crossed into the opposing lane, colliding head-on with a westbound Jeep Gladiator. The impact caused a third vehicle, a westbound Toyota Camry, to graze the Jeep. Four individuals, the drivers of the Jeep and the Chrysler, as well as two adult passengers of the Jeep, sustained fatal injuries in the crash and were pronounced dead at the scene, according to the California Highway Patrol. A third adult passenger of the Jeep was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of "serious injuries." Their current condition is unknown. The deceased driver of the Jeep was identified by authorities as a 58-year-old man. Information about the other individuals who died in the crash was not available, and the California Highway Patrol did not report on any other injuries. Additional details about the circumstances leading to the crash remain unknown, including whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. An investigation by the California Highway Patrol is ongoing. Authorities were on the scene for over six hours on Saturday as teams worked to clear the area.
