Deadly Accident in Fresno:
An 85-year-old man died in a car accident in Fresno County, California. The incident occurred on Monday around 8:30 p.m. on the I-5 highway near Nees Avenue, south of Los Banos. According to the California Highway Patrol, the elderly man was driving on the highway when he suddenly changed lanes. This unexpected maneuver caused a man driving a Chevrolet to crash into the elderly man's car, causing it to veer into the median.
After the impact, several people helped to get the 85-year-old man out of his vehicle before it caught fire. Unfortunately, despite efforts to save him, the man died from the injuries sustained in the accident. The driver of the Chevrolet suffered only minor injuries.
