Collision in Victorville
Elizabeth Faamaligi tragically lost her life in a devastating traffic accident involving three vehicles in Victorville on Thursday afternoon, June 27. The tragic incident occurred around 1:16 p.m. at the intersection of Amargosa Road and Eucalyptus Street, a regularly busy crossing in the city. According to reports from the Victorville Police Department, the accident was triggered when a white BMW 328d suddenly entered the lane occupied by a silver Toyota Camry closely following a gray Kia Sorrento.
Eyewitnesses recounted to authorities that the BMW, seemingly exiting from a nearby memorial park, misjudged the road configuration, mistakenly believing it had an additional lane to turn into. In an attempt to correct its path, the BMW tried to re-enter the correct lane, resulting in the fatal collision.
Elizabeth Faamaligi, a 55-year-old resident of Victorville and the driver of the involved Kia Sorrento, suffered critical injuries as a result of the impact and was urgently transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center, where she tragically succumbed to the severity of her injuries.
