An overturned box truck has blocked a lane on Interstate 5 in Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The collision occurred just before 4 p.m. along the #1 lane of the I-5 northbound transition to Highway 50 westbound. Fortunately, there have been no reported injuries, and CHP has described the incident as a solo crash.
To deal with the situation, officials have shut down the entire transition to upright the box truck and tow it away. While some traffic is moving slowly through the shoulder, it remains unclear when the truck will be removed from the connector.
