Accident in San Diego
Authorities have revealed more details about the tragic discovery of a body near a Jack in the Box restaurant in the Tierrasanta neighborhood of San Diego.
The victim, a 52-year-old man whose identity has not been disclosed, was found dead in the exit lane of a parking lot located at 10791 Tierrasanta Blvd. Police officers responded to the scene after receiving a report about a man lying on the ground around 12:24 p.m. Unfortunately, emergency services that arrived shortly after could only confirm his death at the scene.
According to the press release from the San Diego Police Department, the cause of death was determined to be the result of a hit-and-run.
