Collision in South Natomas
A tragic incident occurred in the South Natomas area, resulting in the death of a pedestrian after being hit by a car. The Sacramento Police Department received reports of the collision around 6:30 p.m. near San Juan Road and Airport Road. Despite efforts by fire personnel to save the man's life, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver involved in the collision remained at the scene. As authorities investigated the incident, Airport Road and San Juan Road between Duckhorn and Azevedo Drive were temporarily closed but have since reopened.
