Tragic Car Accident
Yovanni Angel Miranda has been identified as the victim of a fatal car accident that occurred in West Sacramento over the weekend. The tragic incident took place around midnight on Saturday near the intersection of Southport Parkway and Silverwood Road. According to the West Sacramento Police Department, a car overturned and caught fire while carrying two individuals.
Yovanni Angel Miranda lost his life at the scene of the accident, while the other occupant of the vehicle, identified as Miguel Nava Romero, is currently in critical condition. Both of them were described by the Washington Unified School District as former students.
The school district expressed its condolences, stating, "Our hearts go out to the families and friends of both young men during this incredibly difficult time.
