In Sacramento, California, a 59-year-old man died in the hospital following a single-vehicle accident on Saturday night. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to reports of a vehicle crash heading northbound on Stockton Boulevard, north of Florin Road, around 9:55 p.m. The man was driving a Toyota Tacoma when he lost control and veered off the roadway. Despite emergency response efforts and transport to the hospital, the driver succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
