Tragedy in Rancho Cucamonga
A tragic accident in Rancho Cucamonga has left two teenagers dead and one hospitalized after the vehicle they were traveling in crashed into a power pole on Friday. Authorities reported that the three teenagers were heading west on Wilson Avenue when the driver lost control just after passing Haven Avenue around 4:25 p.m. The car crashed into a power pole and then into a tree. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they attempted to provide medical assistance to the victims. Despite their efforts, the driver, a 17-year-old, and a 14-year-old passenger were pronounced dead. A 17-year-old passenger was transported to a local hospital, where he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. There are unconfirmed reports that all three victims were students at nearby Los Osos High School. Sky5 images showed law enforcement officers and emergency teams investigating the scene of the accident on Friday night. The cause of the deadly crash remains under investigation.
