Tragedy in California
Wednesday night in California bore witness to two tragic vehicular incidents that have left local communities in a state of shock. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is conducting thorough investigations into both events, which occurred within less than an hour of each other.
The first incident took place around 9:20 p.m. at the intersection of Lewelling Boulevard and Embers Way in San Leandro. According to initial reports confirmed by the CHP, a pedestrian was found on the roadway, apparently a victim of a vehicle impact. The second fatal incident occurred in the area of Via Bellita and Via Arroyo in San Lorenzo, at approximately 10 p.m. According to the CHP, a gray Nissan was overturned on the road, marking the scene of another tragic accident. Similar to the first incident, Alameda County coroners traveled to the location to proceed with relevant investigations.
