One person died and six were injured in a four-vehicle collision in the Borrego Springs, California area. The crash occurred around 8:47 p.m. at the intersection of East Highway 78 and Borrego Springs Road, according to the California Highway Patrol traffic log.
The incident involved three motorcyclists and one vehicle. According to firefighters, one person died at the scene, another is in critical condition, and a third suffered minor injuries. Four more people were treated and released.
