A teenager died and four others were injured after an accident in Foresthill early Tuesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), it happened after 1 a.m. on Foresthill Road, east of Mayflower Road.
CHP reports that a 16-year-old boy was driving a 2020 Toyota RAV4 when he collided with a tree. The driver died from his injuries and his four passengers, all between the ages of 16 and 17, suffered major injuries and were taken to a hospital.
