STANISLAUS COUNTY, Calif. — A man died after a crash in Stanislaus County on Thursday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash occurred around 10:15 p.m. along Mc Gee Avenue, north of Rice Road. Officers responded to reports of a crash requiring an ambulance.
Upon arrival, officers found a 2010 Chevrolet HHR that had crashed into a dirt embankment and rolled over. The 59-year-old man driving the vehicle died at the scene. According to the California Highway Patrol, he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
