In a tragic incident on a Sunday afternoon in San Pasqual, a fiery collision between two vehicles claimed the life of a 19-year-old, while two others were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, as reported by the San Diego Police Department. The SDPD provided details that a Pontiac, driven by a 19-year-old man, was heading east when the vehicle lost control and veered into the westbound lane. In a devastating collision, a Chevy Bolt traveling westward struck the Pontiac broadside, resulting in both vehicles catching fire. Tragically, the young driver of the Pontiac lost his life at the scene of the accident, leaving his friends who were traveling behind him in shock and grief. Among the first responders was the victim's own mother, who arrived at the scene to a heartbreaking tragedy. The occupants of the Chevy Bolt, identified as a husband and wife aged 79 and 80, sustained injuries in the crash.
