Pete Davidson was involved in a major car accident after leaving his comedy show at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on Saturday night. The former "Saturday Night Live" cast member, who entered an 18-month diversion program in July following a reckless driving charge, hosted a post-show party. At around 10 p.m., a witness saw him scrape his car against a wall while leaving the venue.
Exclusive photos obtained by Page Six show Davidson behind the wheel of a black GMC truck with another man in the passenger seat and three other people in the back seats. The images also highlight several scratch marks that covered one side of his vehicle from the middle door to the beginning of the rear wheel.
A source exclusively told Page Six that the audience didn't know it was Davidson until he got out of the car, at which point everyone screamed upon hearing the accident. Fans found out it was Davidson and shouted, "Oh, shit, that was Pete!"
In one of the photos, 29-year-old Davidson was seen holding what appeared to be some kind of cigarette in his non-driving hand. At one point, the comedian, wearing a green hoodie, raised a hand to his face in an attempt to shield himself from possible paparazzi flashes.
We were informed that other celebrities, including Machine Gun Kelly and Ruby Rose, were present, but they all left before Davidson and were not photographed in his car. Davidson's representative did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for comment.
It is unclear who the other four passengers were, but none of them included Davidson's rumored love interest, Madelyn Cline, even though she attended his last show in Las Vegas last week.
The "King of Staten Island" actor is unfortunately familiar with car accidents, as he and his now ex-girlfriend, Chase Sui Wonders, crashed into a house in Beverly Hills in March. Reports indicated that Davidson lost control of his car after hitting a fire hydrant while traveling "at a high speed" around 11 p.m. that night.
The collision resulted in Davidson's vehicle flying onto the side of a residential house near the intersection. Several parts of the car appeared to be destroyed, but fortunately, the airbags were deployed and no one was injured.
In July, Davidson was ordered to complete 50 hours of community service after receiving a reckless driving charge. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office informed us at that time that if the comedian complied with certain conditions, there would be no criminal offense on his record.
