Honda Accord Crash into Hemet Home
In a harrowing incident that unfolded on a Sunday afternoon, two individuals were captured on home surveillance cameras fleeing the scene of a violent crash into a family home in Riverside County. The alarming collision took place at approximately 4:30 p.m. within the 500 block of Madrid Street in Hemet, as reported by the independent news agency RMG News.
The footage of the crash vividly depicts a dark-colored four-door Honda Accord speeding through a brick and steel front yard fence, ultimately colliding with the home's garage, causing substantial damage. The sheer impact of the crash is evident from the debris strewn across the yard.
Within moments of the vehicle coming to a halt, a woman is observed exiting the back passenger-side door. In a state of panic, she raises her arms and lets out distressing screams as she hastily flees the accident scene on foot. Shortly thereafter, a second individual emerges from the same door, cautiously navigating the yard while almost tripping over some of the wreckage caused by the collision.
Promptly, officers from the Hemet Police Department were dispatched to the scene, but it remains unclear whether the two occupants of the Honda were apprehended following the crash. Additionally, crucial details regarding the involvement of drugs or alcohol in the accident, as well as any potential injuries sustained by the individuals in the car or the occupants of the home, remain unknown.
