Motorcycle Collision Near Rancho Road
A distressing incident unfolded on Sheep Creek Road near Rancho Road at approximately 4:56 pm on February 11, 2024. This particular Sunday, renowned for the excitement of the Super Bowl, turned grim for one motorcycle rider involved in a collision. The accident involved a 2002 GMC Yukon and a black motorcycle, resulting in critical injuries to the motorcyclist.
San Bernardino County Fire swiftly responded to the scene, indicating the severity of the situation. Their efforts led to the request for an airship to land at the nearby Stater Bros. shopping center. The injured rider was promptly transported by ground ambulance to the designated landing zone. From there, the individual was airlifted via Mercy Air 22 helicopter to Loma Linda University Medical Center for urgent medical attention.
At the time of this report, updates regarding the rider's condition were not available, leaving friends, family, and concerned community members in suspense. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported from the collision.
