Incident in Pasadena
On Tuesday morning, Highway 210 in Pasadena finally reopened all its lanes after an incident that paralyzed traffic for over twelve hours since the previous night. Chaos began around 7 p.m. on Monday when a manufactured home detached from a large truck in the westbound lanes near Lake Avenue. This caused the blockage of most lanes, leaving only the two left lanes available until approximately 6 a.m. on Tuesday, resulting in miles of backed-up traffic.
Images captured by AIR7 showed the scene on Tuesday morning, still with the home in the middle of the lanes, highlighting the complexity and duration of the incident. The situation was further complicated when the slid structure collided with another trailer and an SUV, according to reports from the California Highway Patrol. As a result of the collision, at least one person had to be transported to the hospital due to injuries sustained.
Finally, all lanes of Highway 210 were fully reopened around 8:42 a.m., gradually restoring normalcy and allowing traffic to flow again without the obstructions that severely affected vehicular mobility overnight and early morning in the Pasadena area.
