Highway Tragedy in Fellows
In a heartbreaking incident late Sunday night, a young man from Taft met a tragic end in a single-vehicle accident on Highway 33 near Fellows, California. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the victim, a 21-year-old whose identity remains undisclosed, was traveling westbound on Highway 33, specifically west of Randal Road, just minutes before 11:30 p.m.
The unfortunate accident occurred when the driver made what authorities have described as "an unsafe turning movement," causing his 2005 Acura to veer off the road, subsequently overturning multiple times before colliding with a telephone pole. Tragically, the young man was pronounced dead at the scene, despite having used his safety equipment as recommended by the CHP.
