Highway 99 Offramp Collision
A traffic incident on the northbound offramp of Highway 99 at the intersection with Highway 32 in Chico, California, caused significant delays on a Wednesday afternoon. The incident, which involved two SUVs, led to the closure of part of East Ninth Street, a one-way road that also serves as Highway 32.
The accident was reported to authorities around 2:05 p.m., and the Chico Police Department was the first to arrive at the scene, even though Highway 99 falls under the jurisdiction of the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
