Hesperia crash:
HESPERIA, CA. — A California Highway Patrol (CHP) vehicle and a silver Chevrolet Trax were involved in a traffic collision Sunday morning in the city of Hesperia. The two-vehicle collision occurred at approximately 11:10 a.m. on September 15, 2024, on Main Street, near the intersection with E Avenue.
According to a witness, the CHP officer was speeding down Main Street without lights or siren activated. The driver of the Chevy was turning left from the center left turn lane into the Burger King parking lot when the impact with the CHP vehicle, which was traveling along Main Street, occurred.
Both vehicles ended up on the sidewalk with significant damage.
The CHP officer was not injured, while the other driver involved sustained minor injuries.
