It is unknown whether the motorcyclist was under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol leading up to the crash. CHP says the driver of the Chevrolet truck was not under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol at the time. The investigation continues to determine the exact causes of the accident and whether the motorcyclist’s condition may have contributed to the tragic event.
