Fatal Crash in Mojave
A tragic car crash in Mojave, California has left one person dead, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The incident occurred on Friday, Feb. 16, around 3:32 p.m. local time. The crash involved a 2018 Mitsubishi sedan and an Infiniti sedan on Highway 14.
The CHP reported that the driver of the Mitsubishi, traveling southbound on Highway 14, was attempting to make a left turn into the Stater Brothers parking lot when the collision transpired with the northbound Infiniti sedan.
Sadly, an 84-year-old male passenger from Lancaster, who was not wearing a seatbelt, sustained fatal injuries in the crash. The victim's identity has not been released as of now.
Notably, the CHP has stated that impairment is not believed to be a factor in the collision at this stage of the investigation.
