Chula Vista Tragedy
In Chula Vista, California, tragedy struck on a Wednesday morning when a pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle. The incident occurred just before 5:30 a.m. in the 600 Block of L St., close to Riverlawn Avenue. According to reports from authorities, the collision resulted in the pedestrian, identified as a 34-year-old man from Chula Vista, sustaining severe injuries. Tragically, despite the efforts of emergency responders, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle involved, a 32-year-old Chula Vista resident, remained present at the scene following the collision and cooperated with law enforcement officers.
