Beverly Hills Hit-and-Run

A woman suspected of hitting a male pedestrian with her vehicle in Beverly Hills on Friday evening, and then fleeing the scene, has been taken into custody. The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on Friday when the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound on Olympic Boulevard near Rexford Drive. According to the Beverly Hills Police Department, the victim was immediately transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in critical condition. The driver responsible for the hit-and-run was swiftly located in an undisclosed area and subsequently arrested. She has been booked on suspicion of committing a hit-and-run, and the police have indicated that additional charges against her are pending. As a result of the ongoing investigation, Olympic Boulevard had to be temporarily closed down to ensure a thorough examination of the incident. This incident has raised concerns in the community about pedestrian safety and the need for increased vigilance on the part of drivers. The victim's condition remains critical, and the authorities are working diligently to piece together the events leading up to the incident and determine the appropriate charges for the suspect.
