Accident in San Francisco:
A driver crashed a vehicle into a building in Union Square, San Francisco, early Sunday, resulting in four passengers being taken to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries and causing a temporary street closure, authorities said.
The driver crashed into a building at the corner of Stockton and Post streets, according to a video posted by the Fire Department on social media at 2:38 a.m. A Breitling luxury watch store opened on the first floor of the building this year.
Of the five people inside the vehicle, four were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
The intersection was open as of 10 a.m. Sunday, according to San Francisco Fire Department Lt. Mariano Elias.
