Accident in Pacoima
A tragic accident occurred in Pacoima, where one person died and another was seriously injured after their vehicle overturned from Highway 118.
The incident, reported by Los Angeles Fire Department officials near the intersection of Hadden Avenue and Fielding Street, took place shortly before 5 p.m.
While details about the exact causes of the accident are scarce, it is known that one occupant was ejected from the vehicle while the other was trapped, requiring firefighters' intervention for rescue.
Unfortunately, efforts to save one of the affected individuals resulted in their death at the scene, according to an official statement from the LAFD. Aerial footage captured by Sky5 and videos of the scene showed intense activity from emergency teams, with the victim covered by a sheet near the accident site.
The other person involved was quickly transported to the hospital in an unknown condition. So far, it has not been confirmed whether alcohol or drugs may have been a factor in this tragic incident. The identity and additional details about the victims have not yet been disclosed by authorities.
