A 22-year-old resident of Hayward lost his life due to a tragic accident earlier this month. According to authorities, the fatal incident occurred around 4:45 p.m. on May 8th near the intersection of Mission Boulevard and Orchard Avenue.
The young man, identified as Sai Gollapalli, was struck by a vehicle while riding a scooter, resulting in serious injuries. Despite the efforts of the police and medical teams who arrived at the scene, Gollapalli was unresponsive and was urgently transported to a nearby hospital, where he tragically passed away two days later due to the severity of his injuries.
