Accident in Dinuba:
In Dinuba, California, a woman died on Tuesday morning following a head-on collision, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). Officers reported that just before 8 a.m., a 64-year-old woman from Dinuba was driving her Toyota Corolla east on Hwy 201, just west of Road 74. On the same road, Tracy Saenz, a 51-year-old also from Dinuba, was driving her Kia Sorento in the opposite direction heading west.
For reasons that are still unknown, the two vehicles collided head-on, resulting in the death of the Toyota driver. Officers indicated that witnesses were able to assist the driver of the Kia out of her car, and she was transported to a local hospital.
Authorities reported that both drivers appeared to be wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. However, it has not yet been determined if drugs were a contributing factor.
