One passenger died and a driver was injured after a tree fell onto their vehicle in the retirement community of Rossmoor in Contra Costa City during Tuesday's storm. The deceased passenger was identified as 79-year-old Thomas Huster from Walnut Creek. Firefighters from the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District responded to the incident and found the dead passenger at the scene.
