A tragic accident occurred Sunday morning in Modesto when a person was ejected from their vehicle after crashing into a tree. According to the Modesto Police Department, the incident took place on East Briggsmore Avenue, near Rose Avenue, around 11:30 a.m.
The driver of a black 1994 Chevrolet Z28 Camaro was traveling eastbound when they lost control, veered off the road, and collided with a tree. The impact was so severe that the driver was ejected from the car and died at the scene of the accident.
So far, it is unclear what caused the crash, and authorities are investigating the factors that may have contributed to the tragedy.
