Three people were injured in a collision on La Purisima Road near Lompoc on Saturday afternoon, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
The crash involved a Chevy Equinox and a Jeep, occurring around 3:15 p.m. near the entrance to La Purisima Mission.
The male driver and a female passenger in the Equinox had to be extricated from the wreckage through the front windshield.
Both suffered moderate injuries and were taken by AMR ambulance to Lompoc Valley Medical Center. The female driver of the Jeep sustained minor injuries and was also taken to the Lompoc hospital.
Names and details on their conditions were not immediately available. The collision is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
